How to legalise a document
Legalisation is the official confirmation that a signature, seal or stamp on a document is genuine. But having a document legalised doesn’t mean that its contents are accurate, and it does not carry any sort of official approval by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
The British High Commission in Lusaka can offer a limited legalisation service for UK documents.
Relocation of the UK Legalisation Office
Demand for legalisation services has increased by 15% each year over the last few years as more people go to live, work, study, buy property, get married or do business overseas. And the Legalisation Office (LO) has outgrown its current premises at the Old Admiralty Building in central London. So we are very pleased to announce that on Friday 8 August the LO will move to a modern and much larger office in Norfolk House (West) in central Milton Keynes.
